Dre'Quan Priest

2:13 Dre'Quan Priest is a supporting character in Grand Theft Auto 6: a former street dealer who wants to be a music mogul, the partner of Boobie Ike in the record label Only Raw Records, and the man who has just signed the rap duo Real Dimez. Rockstar's description of him opens: "Dre'Quan was always more of a hustler than a gangster. Even when he was dealing on the streets to make ends meet, breaking into music was the goal." IGN, walking through the characters Rockstar introduced with Trailer 2 in May 2025, calls him Real Dimez's manager, "a hustler more interested in the music business than the city's criminal underworld", who now has "a potentially big hit on his hands" while he spends his days booking acts at Boobie's Jack of Hearts strip club.

Quick facts

Rockstar's description

Rockstar's page for Dre'Quan, in the "Only in Leonida" section of its Grand Theft Auto 6 site, has two lines. After the hustler line comes the turn his story is taking: "Now that he's signed the Real Dimez, Dre'Quan's days of booking acts into Boobie's strip club might be numbered as he sets his sights on the Vice City scene." Boobie's own page calls him "the young aspiring music mogul Dre'Quan" and says Only Raw Records is the partnership Boobie is "most invested in", adding: "now they just need a hit."

Rockstar's images of him on the site show him in a recording studio, standing beside a man at the equipment; leaning on a bar in a suit at a night pool party; in a club with his arms crossed and a drink in his hand; standing behind the two members of Real Dimez with his hands on their shoulders; and getting out of a car with Boobie.

Only Raw Records and Boobie Ike

7:24 Dre'Quan's partner in the label is Boobie Ike, who is on the game's cover; IGN describes him as "a music producer and owner of the Jack of Hearts strip club featured in the trailers". Rockstar's site says he turned his time in the streets into "a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio", and that he is "all smiles until it's time to talk business". IGN expects Jason and Lucia to work both with and against him. When Rockstar first described the two partners in May 2025, IGN summed up what its site said of them: drug and club money funding "a budding music empire".

Real Dimez

14:35 The act Dre'Quan has signed is Bae-Luxe and Roxy, high school friends who, in Rockstar's words, turned "their time shaking down local dealers into cold, hard cash via spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence". TGG, breaking down Trailer 2 the day it came out, pointed Bae-Luxe out in a new shot and believes the duo are the women seen on top of a car in Trailer 1. Rockstar says an early hit single with the local rapper DWNPLY took them "to new heights", and that after "five years and a whole lot of trouble" they are signed to Only Raw, "hoping lightning can strike twice". One of Rockstar's images has Roxy at the wheel of a car with Dre'Quan beside her in the passenger seat.

In Trailer 2

11:59 Trailer 2 puts Dre'Quan beside Jason Duval. In a scene at 919, a Vice City nightclub that a plane's banner advertised in Trailer 1, a man in a white tank top asks, "Yo D, this fool a Fed?", and TGG identifies D as Dre'Quan. TGG notes that the line plays into the fan theory that Jason is an undercover cop, though "it's hard to say", and thinks it most likely that Jason was meeting Dre'Quan and that Dre'Quan introduced him to the men around them.

15:56 Later in the trailer, Jason and Dre'Quan react to something on a phone outdoors in central Vice City, close to the basketball arena, which TGG places by the Ferris wheel behind them. Dre'Quan wears a Manatees shirt, for what TGG takes to be the Vice City football team, and a cap of the Vice City Narcos, its basketball team. The city itself is on Vice City.

In An Extended Look

28:34 In An Extended Look, Rockstar's 27-minute gameplay film of Aug 27, 2026, Dre'Quan appears briefly near the end, among scenes of activities: as the film gives its first look at the Jack of Hearts, TGG, who watched the footage at Rockstar North, points him out there. The film's story runs from a drug pickup for Boobie Ike to Jason and Lucia's first job with the bank robber Raul Bautista and a bodyguard job at a party; Wikipedia's summary of its plot does not mention Dre'Quan.

What is not known

As of Oct 10, 2026, Rockstar has not said how large a part Dre'Quan plays in the story, whether he gives Jason and Lucia Caminos work, or who voices him (see Cast). No song by Real Dimez has been released either: none of the eight singles out by Oct 10 from the game's album is credited to them (see Music and Radio). The rest of the people around the couple are on Characters.
