Is GTA 6 on Xbox Game Pass?

No. Grand Theft Auto 6 is sold on the Microsoft Store like any other new game, and the store's listing, read on Nov 1, 2026, names no Game Pass tier that includes it. Microsoft has announced it for Game Pass neither at launch nor later. Xbox's chief strategy officer, Matthew Ball, spoke about the game on Oct 7, 2026 only to deny a report that Xbox had won exclusive streaming rights: "We are looking forward to launching GTAVI on XBOX November 19, though the game will not be streaming exclusively or to PC," Kotaku reported.

Grand Theft Auto V is a guide to what may happen later. It joined Game Pass years after its release and left it again on Apr 15, 2026, a year after its last return, Insider Gaming reported from the Xbox app's list of departures. Whether Grand Theft Auto 6 ever joins is not known.

Is GTA 6 on PlayStation Plus?

Both stores call it "a single-player experience". The subscriptions matter only for online multiplayer, and Rockstar has announced no online mode for the game as of Nov 1, 2026; see GTA Online.

Why isn't GTA 6 on Game Pass?

Because Take-Two sells its biggest games rather than lending them to a subscription at launch. Zelnick made the case in August 2024, when Microsoft was about to put Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Game Pass on its first day: a premium new game in a subscription "will push consumers to that subscription service for at least a period of time", which is good for the service, and it "won't affect our decisions because our decisions are rational", PCGamesN reported from his interview with GamesIndustry.biz. What is GTA+?

GTA+ is Rockstar's own paid membership for GTA Online on Grand Theft Auto V, not a way to get Grand Theft Auto 6. Every digital pre-order of Grand Theft Auto 6 comes with a free month of it, which renews as a paid membership unless canceled; the PlayStation Store asks for it to be claimed by Mar 31, 2027.
